Please join us for bee pick up & class (this is for folks that have preordered bees. Unfortunately, we will not have any extra bees for sale)

And NO, you do not have to had purchased bees from us to attend classes. It's free for anyone interested in learning.

9:30 – 11:30AM BEE PICK UP ONLY (no class or lunch, just grab and go)

12-1:00pm Lunch – Pulled pork sandwiches/potluck sides/desert

1– 3pm Beginning beekeeping class/field class/inspections.  Please register if attending class under events tab. Event is free, however we need to ensure we have enough refreshments. There will be classes both days.

 

Don will have a discussion on beginning beekeeping and then move over to the field for a hive inspection where he will discuss beekeeping through the seasons and what to be on the lookout for. Wendy will also have a short talk about the Inevitable Sting: how to act quickly, what symptoms and types, as well as some simple over the counter items on have in your hive tool kit in the event of a sting.

We will also have plenty of time for Q & A.
